Aneel Bhusri Biography

Aneel Bhusri is chairman, co-founder and co-CEO at Workday. Aneel has been a leader, product visionary and innovator in the enterprise IT industry for more than 20 years. Before co-founding Workday in 2005, Aneel held a number of leadership positions at PeopleSoft, including senior vice president responsible for product strategy, business development and marketing, and vice chairman of the board. He has served as an investing partner at Greylock Partners and as chairman of the board at Data Domain (acquired by EMC for $2.5 B in 2009).

In addition to his role at Workday, Aneel currently serves on the boards of several private companies including, Cloudera, Okta, Tidemark and Pure Storage.

Aneel received an MBA from Stanford University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, both from Brown University. Aneel is a Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute.
