The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Taylor Armstrong was the featured speaker for the 2nd annual Kristin’s Fund Gala that happened on March 10th at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona. At the event, there were lots of food, drinks, music, and various prizes that were auctioned off to raise money for a good cause. Kristin’s Fund Gala was established to raise public awareness and educate as many people about the dangers of domestic violence. It exists because of the support of the family of Kristin Palumbo, a woman who tragically lost her life due to being stabbed to death by her husband. Armstrong gave an incredible speech and her main message pointed out how Kristin’s life could be learned from, and it proves that something like this can happen to anyone, anywhere. Also, that by sharing her story, people are more likely to empathize with victims and prevent things like this from happening.
The Kansas-born Beverly Hills resident moved to California during her teen years, and her first major television appearance was on the Bravo TV series, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that was aired in 2010. She remained one of the main cast members until 2016, with only a couple other small appearances in other works. Armstrong was a victim of domestic violence herself, and her first husband took his own life after it was revealed to the public about the happenings in their home.
Armstrong appeared at this year’s Kristin’s Fund Gala earlier this month on March 10 in Verona, and it was definitely a memorable experience for those who attended.
